Supported Independent Placement is a program that provides supports to individuals whom live in their own apartments. Our main focus with these individuals is assisting them to live in a safe and healthy environment. This includes things such as helping consumers properly maintain their home, meal preparation, safe food storage, and laundry. We also work on other skills which vary with each individual,  Medical needs are met with staff assistance when necessary. We provide assistance in making appointments, medication set up, and, if needed, transportation. Along with meeting health and safety issues, we offer supports for consumers striving to achieve their hopes and dreams. This includes such things as recreational activities, social activities, work skills, and money skills. Through Person- Centered Planning (PCP) meetings and a team effort, we assist in enhancing the independence and quality of life of persons with special needs.
